My kids can't reach their own coats when I put them on the regular coat rack, so now they have their own coat rack by the door. The arms are long enough to hang multiple items, so it's useful. My husband put it together quickly, but his drill and screwdrier are one in the same tool so he makes adjustments when he puts things like this together anyway. I agree the retail price listed is way too much to pay, though.
