I used this product 3 times and it broke. I did not exceed the weight limit, I only had 2 tshirts on the line. I cannot get any response from Amazon on what to do with this. Do Not waste your money on this product.

I got this clothesline about 6 months ago and use it several times a week. The directions say to wrap the line around the little hook on the bottom of the unit to keep the line taut. I'm wondering if some of the other reviewers didn't realize that you need to do this. I hang jeans, small rugs as well as more lightweight items and it never sags.

I like that it folds sideways and is unobtrusive. It's sturdy and well-suited to its task. Nice price, too.

What a disappointing product. The "retractable" clotheline does not retract. Totally unusable. I threw my money out the window with this purchase.
