Can hold approximately 1.5 - 2 loads of laundry. This review is from: Whitmor 6155-699 18 Inch Collapsible Hamper, White With Blue Trim (Kitchen) I was not expecting how big the hamper really is, It has enough space for atleast 1-2 weeks of clothing, It is see through as depicted, and it does collapse. Seems to be durable but I am not using the handles to carry it around, it also has a zip top to close it. Impressed with this hamper for its value and for what it is, it is not a "fancy" hamper, probably more of something you would move out of the way if you had company. If you want to look at it fist I did see a similar one at wal-mart (in my area) for a little bit more $.
